My best friend Martin Gorence gone on April 1st 2024. Martin was the biggest influence in my life to keep the real stoke of surfing continuously alive. I would come out from surfing with him and I would always be greeted with someone saying "Who was that? He's sush a nice guy and made this surf session memorable". He's was the kind of guy that everyone would talk about how they love surfing with him. He just surfed Cabo the week before and passed away super suddenly. So shocking and devastating.
I shot this picture of him at K-38 under the arms of a statue of Christ. Now he's with Him. I love you brother.
