    Hi Nic, welcome to the site.
    There's a few New Zealander's on this site now. I don't know if you know these other guys near you, but if you do make sure to add them as your friend (on the top left column). This way when you upload a surfer shot, make a comment on the forum. or do something else on here you can click on the "share" icon, then their name, and it will notify them via email.
